Black and White shore rocks long goodbye

Made from the hands of the creator
On earth they find their place
They are silence in their existence
But only to hear them speak I wonder
The feet of many have tread on them
They are an open book with many pages
Long lives lived, short lives known
Molded by the earth they are shaped
The seasons they have witnessed
But yet they remain silence in their existence
In silence they live
But only if they could speak
But for now the doors to the past are our only link to them
But yet silent they remain to take with them the words of the past
No death they see
But destruction does come
To crumble into pieces those words that once lived in them
And yet in silence they remain
