ABOUT THE BOOK:
Was the birth of Jesus a quietly profound event? Or could it have included heavenly battles, angel armies, and a scheming Satan? Come along as Lucado takes us on a journey into his imagination-pulling back the curtain as we see what might have taken place on Cosmic Christmas.
Cosmic Christmas lives up to its name. This small book is slight in content but profound in thought and imagination with an assortment of the scriptures. Max Lucado had me hooked like a fish right from the start. It takes you on a journey from heaven towards the birth of the Christ child in small Bethlehem. As you read along you are riveted at the details described by Max Lucado the author, that there is no doubt that images of what is taking place are fashioned in your mind. The book revolves around the thought of the angels of the Lord, messengers to say the least which are given the crucial task of delivering our Christmas present to this world, the Christ baby. But on their journey to earth they are confronted with the evil forces of Satan and his fallen angels trying to hamper the birth of Christ. It is great to see the how the battle unfolds in the cosmic and to see the victory at the end. This is one book I would recommend!
